Asset Lendr Corp. and its affiliates including Asset Lendr (collectively and individually, “Asset Lendr”) have always maintained the highest attention to safeguard the privacy of information they obtain in the course of their respective business activities. Asset Lendr believes it is important for you to know how we treat your personal information. This Privacy Policy will explain why we collect personal information (information about an identifiable individual) about our clients and their employees, our franchisees and their principals, our employees, our referral sources, and other individuals who interact with us, and how we handle that information on our websites and offline.

Types of information we collect
With your consent, we may gather personal information from you in person, at our office, over the telephone, through our websites, by corresponding with you via mail or email, or from third party suppliers.

When you make an inquiry on one of our websites or complete an employment, franchise or financing application we may collect from you certain information including, but not limited to, and as applicable to the particular circumstance, your name, current and previous addresses, date of birth, Social Insurance Number or Social Security Number, gender, salary, marital status, and specific details about your assets (their cost and date of acquisition, current value), and your liabilities (to whom, the amount owed, the nature of any collateral pledged, etc). We may also collect additional information, such as correspondence with us, questions/comments about Asset Lendr, academic and professional qualifications, particulars of current and previous employment and other matters related to your suitability whether as a client, a franchisee, an employee, etc.. For persons who act as a proprietor, partner or shareholder of a duly formed legal entity, we may collect further information, such as your firm name, and names and respective interests of members, partners or shareholders.

Asset Lendr may also access, use, store and share your personal information comprising Google user data. In particular, Asset Lendr may view and authenticate your Google user data for login verification and for syncing calendar and contacts information. Asset Lendr saves your Google data into Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. Google data saved on Asset Lendr servers includes email, tokens for accesses, basic profile information, calendar events and contacts but generally does not include drive folders or files, hangouts calls and Google data from other Google services. Asset Lendr does not interfere with Google’s privacy policy.

How we use your personal information
Personal information provided by you in connection with your actual or prospective business or employment relationship with Asset Lendr, may be used by, collected by and/or disclosed by Asset Lendr (including its agents and contractors, lenders and investors) for the following purposes:

Asset Lendr will not sell any of your personal information that you provide to Asset Lendr.

From time to time Asset Lendr may share your personal information with affiliates within our corporate group and with our third party vendors, suppliers, data processors, and providers responsible for administering marketing and promotional activities or providing the products and services you requested, on our behalf. Asset Lendr does not control how you or any of your other third party service providers choose to share or disclose your personal information. Asset Lendr may, acting on your behalf, share your personal information with your provider of an integration you are adding but Asset Lendr is not responsible for how your provider of an integration may collect, use or share your personal information.

Websites and the Internet
In general, you can visit Asset Lendr’s websites at www.assetlendr.com and (the “Websites”) without revealing any personal information about yourself. But we do collect information such as IP addresses, cookies, Internet tags and navigational data. This information is used to better understand and improve usage of the Websites and provide better user service.

The Websites may contain links to other sites. Asset Lendr provides these links as a convenience to users and is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Users are encouraged to be aware when they leave the Websites and to read the privacy statement of every website that collects personally identifiable information.

Asset Lendr will destroy, erase or render anonymous personal information no longer required for the stated purposes or for a legal or legitimate business requirement.

Security safeguards
Asset Lendr takes precautions to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, inappropriate alteration, and misuse. All safety and security measures are appropriate to the sensitivity level of your information. Access to your personal information is restricted to those persons whose job responsibilities require them to have access. In addition, Asset Lendr uses technological safeguards, such as encrypted passwords. Asset Lendr reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If Asset Lendr makes a material change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. We recommend you review this Privacy Policy periodically so you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of our websites following the posting of any changes to this Privacy Policy shall constitute your acceptance of these changes.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
